When I chose this challenge I knew that half of my family wouldn’t have supported me because they are very faithful to the traditional food. But my mom loves eating new things so she is trying to follow me in this challenge.
This week I ate vegetarian for 5 days which I think is good for a rookie like me, but at the same time, I could have done better. For example, Wednesday I went to eat sushi with my best friend because I wanted to spend some quality time with her, but I could have done it in other ways, eat sushi wasn’t necessary.
Even if I cheated on this “diet” 2 times during this week I’ve never forgotten about the challenge. This situation makes me feel happy because I love cooking and now I have a reason to try new recipes based on vegetables. Monday I made ravioli stuffed with carrots, onion, sweet pepper and chard. I also added some pepper and soy sauce and then I steamed them. I will share a photo. They were not bad at all!
So far I think this challenge is pretty easy and in the end, as far as I’m concerned, it could change seriously my food habits.
